The assignment for Sensors & Sensors focused on perception and expression. Specifically, it involved designing a Personal Prosthetic in the form of a wearable, interactive sensory mask. The masks are intended to be worn during a party or festival.
You probably know the feeling: the bass vibrating through your body at a party. But imagine being able to feel different elements of the music. That’s exactly what we’ve made possible with our masks.
When you touch each other while wearing these wearables, they activate. Once switched on, you can feel guitar sounds through a chain across your face. A sensation similar to a feather brushing your skin. Embedded in the chain is a vibration element that responds to the bass, creating a completely new way to experience music.
We offer two types of wearables: one is black with silver accents, sleek and spiky; the other is white with gold accents, soft, bumpy, and rounded.
